You'll begin your search with Triangle Apartment Connection on the "GET STARTED" page by filling out a brief questionnaire. This questionnaire will help us to learn about your rental needs so that we can select properties that best match your criteria. Once completed, your information will be sent to one of our Relocation Specialists who will begin researching communities that meet your needs. Our Relocation Specialist will contact properties for you so that you are guaranteed to receive the most current pricing and availability. Once your search has been completed, you will be emailed a Personal Property Portfolio that will include information about those properties that best meet your criteria. At your convenience, you can then visit these communities to find the one that best suits what you are looking for.

The only thing we ask of you is that upon your initial contact with the properties you are visiting, please immediately tell them that Triangle Apartment Connection sent you. Our services are free for you because we are paid out of the advertising budgets of the properties. In addition, we also ask that you disclose to us, up front, any properties that you have already been in contact with.

How can you possibly work for free? Well, we don't exactly work for free. Yes, our service is of no cost to you. That's because the communities in our database pay to be advertised by us. So don't worry, we're fine, but we appreciate your concern!
What kind of information will I receive in my Personal Property Portfolio? Your PPP will include communities in our database that best match what you are looking for. You'll be sent a link to each property's private web page on our site that will have the property's features, floor plans, photos and contact information.
Will you your staff accompany me on my tours? Sorry, but that's not a service we offer at this time.
Can you help me with my application or lease agreement? Because these are legally binding contracts and we're not attorneys, we can't assist you in your completion of these forms. If you have any questions, please ask your Leasing Agent at your community or contact an attorney.
I have had some credit problems. Can you work with me? Absolutely! Communities are really open minded in light of our current economic times and have adjusted their qualifying criteria accordingly. While we can never guarantee if someone will be approved or declined until a community has processed the application, we do have a general idea of which communities are more lenient with their criteria.
Do you have access to every community in the Triangle? Unfortunately not. The communities in our database are ones that pay us for advertising. This is how our services stay free for you! But no worries, we have communities all over the Triangle and are adding new ones weekly, so you will have lots to choose from!
I'm not moving for several months. Can I still get a Personal Property Portfolio? While we would love to send you one, the truth is it just won't be accurate unless you're moving within the next 60-90 days. That's because communities won't know their pricing or availability until their current residents give notice. The general notice period in the area is 60 days. So until that time, we won't know who will have something for you and what that price will be. Also, pricing in this industry changes so frequently and often has peaks during certain times of the year. For instance, the summer typically has the highest prices since there are more people moving. So if we give you prices in December and you're not moving until August, you'd be sorely disappointed when the same apartment is $150 more! So if you're not moving for a while, contact us anyway and we'll hang onto your information until it's time to get rolling!
Do you work with private landlords? Unfortunately, we don't typically work with private landlords. Every once in a while, one will contact us for advertising assistance, but they're few and far between. And to stay free for you, we can only work with rental units that subscribe to our service.
